Street Sweepin’: Kyle Casey’s Ground Hugging Evo RS
The biggest argument from advocates against the stance scene is that cars are ruined when they get dropped close enough to the earth to even make the ground a little nervous when the slammed chassis slithers by. Of course when someone says you can’t do something or shouldn’t do something, there has to be that group of people that set out to prove them wrong no matter what you are talking about. Kyle Casey and his ground fondling 2006 Mitsubishi Evolution RS not only are in this group but are long-standing members.
Kyle first got his hands on this car back in 2007, bone stock, with a plan to turn it into a track beast but soon the how-low-can-ya-go bug bit Kyle… and hard. To get this low, Kyle has installed a set of modified Megan Coilovers with shorter 8k springs but then took out 2 coils because he decided low just wasn’t low enough. Nestled in the wheel-wells are a set of 18×9.5” Work Emotion 11R’s that go with the clean stripped down look that this Evo flaunts.
Now earlier I talked about proving the nay-sayers wrong. Well we covered the point that this car is low and not just kind of low either. With a supporting cast of bolt-ons and a tune, Kyle currently has this Evo around 345 whp and makes this Evo all show and go. To add to that, Kyle not only daily drives the car this low but he also has had it all over the east coast whether it be up to H2Oi, New York City or a night on the town when hitting up Casinos in CT.
Kyle over the years has come to love his Evo and puts it to good use no matter the place or the time. He’s been a devout follower of Canibeat for the past few years and we love seeing our reader’s rides especially when they are this sick!
